Women's Safety & Empowerment Training in a Supportive and Fun Environment
Personal Protection Party at UMAF

This training is exclusively FOR WOMEN BY WOMEN.  It is a unique program and UMAF has the only 3 women in the state of North Carolina trained to offer this program - Tracy Long, Shannon Edwards, and Lisa Shomaker.

A party is hosted by a woman at either her house or our school for  her friends and family.  We then have a supportive, safe environment to discuss safety - what it is, what it is not, and why women some women are better targets for attackers.

We can then move into disucssion/practice of what women can do and do well to protect themselves and their families.   We have our body language, our voice, our facial expressions, and our intuition.  These things work at preventing attacks if we use them in the right way.

Lastly, if physical defense becomes necessary there are many things that women again can do and do very well.  The techniques are easy and effective.  It is not necessary to have any type of Martial Arts background to perform any of the techniques.

The host of the party chooses the type of techniques she is most interested in learning - techniques again the most common attacks, ground techniques, strikes, punches, kicks, etc.  The host also receives a 10% discount on any safety equipment she may choose to purchase.
